ABOUT ME

process

I’m Adib Haddad — a former finance professional who turned to art in 2020, driven by a search for deeper meaning and self-understanding.

What began as a personal shift soon became a spiritual discipline — a way to translate thought, emotion, and energy into visual form.

My early works were charcoal portraits capturing raw human feeling. From 2021 to 2023, these evolved into surreal black-and-white acrylic compositions exploring duality and contrast.
By 2024, my practice entered a new phase — chromatic abstractions and intricate patterns that reflect the metaphysical.

Today, I work primarily on 100x100 cm canvases. Each painting revolves around a central core: the inner self.
The square represents structure and the material world, while the circular flow symbolizes the spiritual realm. By manipulating color values and depth, I aim to evoke contemplation on the spirituality of existence.

Stroke by stroke, layer by layer - this is how I create.

I mix my own acrylic hues to produce nuanced variations of tints and shades. Working primarily with complementary colors, I build texture and depth through careful control of value.

Each painting is made exclusively with paintbrushes – no tools other than reference points, just hand-guided precision.

I paint on unstretched canvas. Finished works are shipped rolled in a tube and accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
